Actually I have something like this in a loop:
read \%l
output \Fcontents(\%l)\13
and the file contains:
94BQ011XXX UAR\47122 OSAN AB
94BQ011XXX UAR\47142 TAEGU
The \47122 and \47142 get sent as two control characters.
